Taking it to the Streets – Kitsap Documentary Photographer

I have always loved street photography.  I just love the realness, the grittiness, and the ability of street photographers to see beautiful and interesting scenes that one might otherwise pass by without taking a moment to notice.  So I was really excited to participate in my second ClickinWalk sponsored by ClickinMoms.

On Saturday I met up with a bunch of wonderful ladies from in and around Seattle to meander the streets around Pioneer Square en masse and shoot.  Seattle’s streets are always full of color and interesting scenes.  As a bonus, we narrowly escaped a few spots of rain and had some beautiful blue skies complete with sunshine.  When the walk was over my husband treated me to dinner (child-free) in the city and then we headed over to Alki beach so I could get a few shots of the Seattle skyline as all the lights came on.

For those of you who may be curious, the following images were all taken with Sigma 35mm 1.4 and the Lensbaby Composer with Edge 80 optic.
