Everyday Black and White – Kitsap Family Documentary Photographer

Shooting everyday, like picking up the camera every single day,  has always been a challenge for me.  So I was a bit nervous when I started a 30 day black and white project a few weeks back, you might remember me mentioning it here.  But you know what?

I did it.  And I may have only accidentally missed the last day.  So that is a pretty big win for me.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite images with you here.  (But if you are interested you can see all 30 here.)  And let me just say that while not all of the images are total genius (you just can’t hit a home run on a daily basis) I was quite surprised how easy it was to find something intriguing, a beautiful patch of light or an interesting shadow, everyday.
