Website Coaching

When I started laying the ground work for my business and building my website back in 2012 one thing I did not anticipate was how much I would end up loving websites. Since then I have completely gutted and overhauled this site once, built a second personal site, built a third site for a collaborative project, and overhauled a 4th site with the help of a co-admin.

A good website is a powerful tool for a business owner, especially a business owner that heavily identifies as an introvert and would rather drink pond water than openly mumble talk about themselves or their business with a new acquaintance. (I swear every time I meet someone new and they ask “So what do you do?” I revert back into my awkward preteen self. The struggle is real!) A good website can craft a message in a way that speaks directly to the clients you want to work with and leaves them feeling like they already know you and your process before you ever actually meet them in person.

With that in mind, I wanted to build a website review process that was so much more than just a discussion of navigability and a search for broken links and typos.

We are going to talk about branding.  No, not your logo or your template design, but your branding; that message/feeling you want to put forth to the world.  We will talk about how it’s reflected in your website, if it’s cohesive, and if it makes sense for who you want to be as an artist/business owner.

We are going to talk about your written content (including that pesky “about me” section that everyone seems to hate writing) and how that content is laid out to encourage your viewers to move from one page to the next and eventually contact you.

We are also going to talk a bit about your SEO; about what you are currently doing and what strategies you can take to help your website become more visible.

What you’ll get:

  • a bullet pointed PDF for quick reference
  • 2 weeks of prioritized email access to ask any questions you might have while you are updating your website
  • 30 minute Q&A via video chat post review to help guide you through updating
  • a brief, written follow up scheduled within 2 weeks after your review to provide final feedback on the changes made to the website*

$200

 * a more thorough follow up within 2 months in lieu of the 2 weeks follow up to allow for larger website updates is available for and additional $50
