This past week I worked on snagging some sun flare for my 52 week project.
I don’t usually try to achieve sun flare in my work so this gave me a great opportunity to test my lenses. Lens flare appears more frequently in lower end lenses with a longer focal length. The longest lens I own in an 85mm which isn’t really that long. It also happens to be the cheapest lens I own. I was able to get a nice little rainbow sun flare off that lens in the afternoon. I was also able to get some more subtle flare off my 35mm. Very subtle. You might have to look for it. .jpg)
