Father’s Day – June 19, 2016

Father’s Day is June’s installment of Here & Now.  It was a day that was filled with all the things I wish we could do every weekend; doughnuts, hop in the car, spend some serious time outside, and then head back home delightfully exhausted.

For this particular little adventure we stopped in Port Angeles for a little lunch and then made our way out to Lake Crescent to hike a bit of the Spruce Railroad trail.  We got to peek into an abandoned rail road tunnel, watch people swim in the devil’s punch bowl, and spot boats on the lake.  Two hours of hiking later we piled back into the Subaru covered in mud and full of fresh air.
